This video was shown at the UN to highlight the unique and influential role that Rotarians played in the creation of the United Nations and to celebrate the shared vision and work of Rotary and the UN that continues today.

Broadcast Credits
- A World History of Organized Crime: Russia (Writer/ Producer)
This documentary was included in a five-part series, which also covered Sicily, Columbia, India and China. The program explores the foundations of criminal culture in Russia, and traces the interweaving of criminal and political cultures, both in the Soviet Union and after its fall. Among the interviews were FBI agents who warned of the world-changing influence of highly educated, criminally minded Russians and the dramatically increasing extent of their reach—something that has become all too apparent in recent years.
- American Justice (Writer/ Producer, multiple episodes)
This highly acclaimed series was designed to explore issues and elements of the criminal justice system by examining the details of specific cases. Hosted by Bill Kurtis, former news anchor, television personality and now NPR’s “Wait, Wait Don’t Tell me” Announcer, American Justice was a popular documentary series for over ten years.
This was a limited series on A&E, designed to take viewers on a journey through a dramatic historical event. Though not the producer, I was able to book several high-profile members of the Reagan Administration for interviews, including Former Secretary of State, Alexander Haig, whose actions on the day of the assassination attempt were a source of controversy and conflict for him.
This biography of master cellist, YoYo Ma, explored his tri-cultural roots and the development of his unique vision for the power of music to bring different cultures together. Primarily searching a vast array of documentary footage, I was a thrilled to secure archive of 7 year old Yo Yo Ma performing for President Kennedy, as well as other fantastic scenes from his astonishingly diverse career.
This decades long staple of Wisconsin Public television, is not just a show about hunting and fishing– though there is a lot of that. As a segment reporter/ producer, I created packages on wildlife artists, canoe builders, the coast guard and a host of other “outdoor” topics that fit my usually more urban sensibilities.
This limited show explored how technology transforms daily experiences with new tools and opportunities. With tremendous editorial freedom, I produced many segments on innovations that created, deepened or enriched community life.
